The new system allows you to book the most popular attractions in advance and gives priority to those staying in Disney hotels
OR Genius+used since October 2021, when it replaced the old free service Fast passage, his days are numbered. A Disney announced that, on July 24, he will be replaced by Lightning lane multiple pass in Orlando parks. Already the Individual Lightning Lane will give way to Single pass Lightning Lane.
It’s not just a name change: there will be important innovations in the system that gives access to fast queues at the parks’ most popular attractions. In your opinion Disneythe new scheme is a mix between the Quick passage and the Genius+. Understand:
How did Genie+ work?
OR Genius+ it allowed visitors to book almost every attraction in each park (except for the most popular one or two in each park). But appointments had to be made one at a time. In other words, you could program the second one only after using the first one, and so on. In both cases the prices varied depending on the date and the ride chosen and the booking had to be made on the same day of the visit to the park, starting from 7.00 am.
How does Lightning Lane Multi Pass work?
The main change between the Genius+ and the Lightning Lane Multiple Pass is that it will now be possible to book up to three attractions per day in advance.
The new system will however make a distinction between visitors: those staying in a hotel in the Disney You will be able to make the reservation seven days before check-in, while for others the reservation will be released only three days before the start date of use of the ticket.
And there is another rule. Park attractions Magic kingdom, Epcot AND Hollywood studios will be divided into two groups (l The animal kingdom will not have this division), as happened in the old one Quick passage. Visitors will only be able to pre-book one Group 1 attraction (the most popular) and two Group 2 attractions (the least popular).
You will be entitled to pre-book three attractions per day. On the day of the visit, after using the first reservation, it will be possible to make a new appointment for another attraction of any group. After using the second booking, you can make another appointment and so on.
A practical example. Before going to the Magic kingdomyou can pre-book the new Tiana’s Bayou Adventure (Group 1), the Haunted house (Group 2) and the Pirates of the Caribbean (Group 2). The day of the visit to the park, after going there Tiana’s Bayou Adventureyou can program both Great Thunder Mountain Railway (Group 1) regarding Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger spin (Group 2). And, after going to Haunted house, you are now free to program another toy. And so on, without a total limit.
The price to use Lightning lane multiple pass has not yet been released.

How does it work Single pass to Lightning Lane?
You may have noticed that the most popular (and generally newest) attractions are found in city parks Disney In Orlando they do not fall into either group 1 or group 2. These toys were not part of the “package” of Genius+ and will continue to not be part of the “package”. Lightning lane multiple pass.
To access the fast queues you need to purchase the Individual Lightning Lanewhich is now called Single pass Lightning Lane.
In addition to the name, the only news is that it will now be possible to book the attractions in advance: 7 days for hotel guests. Disney and 3 days for others.
