Converse and Patta launch a collaboration ready to face any weather condition

The collaboration between Converse and Patta recreated the Chuck 70 Marquis and Weapon Ox models based on the current strong utilitarian trend in streetwear

Converse once again joins forces with renowned Dutch brand Patta to launch limited editions of two sneakers that redefine classic style. The collection, entitled Rain or Shine (rain or shine in the free translation), will be available from June 28 on the Converse website (converse.com.br), in the physical store of Shopping Cidade São Paulo and in Guadalupe.

This collaboration brings a line carefully crafted with durable fabrics, symbolizing the union of the two brands and their commitment to meaningful values ​​and trajectories. The Patta mindset, which emphasizes overcoming obstacles with dedication and perseverance, serves as the foundation for this collection, which aims to inspire self-expression and success in the face of challenges.

The collection’s campaign features Sam Akpro, an emerging musician from Peckham, South London, known for defying expectations and standing out in the punk music scene. Directed by Caleb Femi, a photographer and director recognized for his work that celebrates resilience and trust, without giving in to filters. Both represent the spirit of rain or shine, embodying the message of overcoming and authenticity.

The collaboration marks the first time Patta has offered a version of the Chuck 70 Marquis (R$749.90), paying homage to Converse’s founder. This special edition features a sporty mesh lining and CX foam cushioning, plus a utilitarian aesthetic with a multi-camouflage Cordura fabric upper and custom star patch.

Also among the highlights of the collection is the recently launched Weapon Ox sneaker (R$899.90), which receives an innovative interpretation by Patta. With a Cordura fabric upper, known for its durability in military and performance clothing, the model is suited to take on the weather as your new challenge. Details such as the upper D-shaped eyelets, the Star Chevron logo application in leather and the special graphics on the internal lining complete the design, aligning with the pieces of the collection.

The clothing line follows the same line

The clothing line includes a limited edition raincoat, a Gold Standard green sweatshirt and trousers set and a Gold Standard gradient print t-shirt. All pieces reflect the unique style of the Converse x Patta collaboration, promising to be key pieces for lovers of streetwear fashion and self-expression.
