Pernambuco João Bosco Gaião is the creator of the unusual version
A drumstick made with chicken feet has recently gone viral on social media. On Instagram alone, one of the videos posted on the profile of the creator of the salty snack, João Bosco Gaião from Pernambuco, has already surpassed 10.1 million views.
“Look at this historic milestone in Brazilian cuisine… Besides being delicious, it’s also great for your skin because crow’s feet are rich in collagen,” says the story in an excerpt from the video.
“It’s the municipality that has limits, not your creativity,” one follower said. The news divided opinion, with many wanting to try it and others not even thinking about trying the salty snack.
JB Salgados owner João, also known as Jhony Salgados, had the idea to make an impact and promote his own food business. For now, he does not sell this version.
“I don’t even know how it happened. [a ideia]. I was here doing some things and I thought: I’m going to make a drumstick with chicken feet and publish it,” he said in an interview with the magazine Pequenas Empresas & Grandes Negócios.
And since the goal is to attract the attention of Internet users, he has already created the heart-shaped coxinha, the ovoxinha, for Easter and even a coxinha birthday cake.
