Young woman with ‘worst pain in the world’ admitted to hospital for MG treatment

According to Carolina Arruda, the goal is to reduce constant pain. The doctor suggested the procedure after the repercussions of the case

The miner Carolina Arrudathe young woman who went viral on social media for having the “the worst pain in the world” – caused by a disease called “trigeminal neuralgia”, was admitted to hospital this Monday 8th to undergo treatment. According to her, the goal is to reduce the intense and constant pain she feels.

On her Instagram profile, she shared that the pain specialist and clinical director of the hospital unit of Santa Casa de Alfenas, in the south of the state, Carlos Marcelo, offered to help her after the repercussions of the case, at no cost.

“He said that the hospital stay will last 5 to 15 days, more or less, that during this hospital stay we will do a kind of ‘reset my brain’. He will give me the medicine and I will sleep for a few days, out of my mind for a few days.

The young woman has been sharing her journey with the disease for some time now. She recently opened an online fundraiser to raise money to carry out euthanasia abroad. If the treatment is successful, the pain will be reduced by 50%.

“I would like to thank everyone who shares the articles, publishes them, tries to find out my story, because this has helped me a lot. Today I have just been admitted here to the Hospital da Santa Casa with the best pain specialist in Brazil. I am only admitted here because you have helped me by sharing my story,” he thanked.

The pain that the young woman feels generally manifests itself in one region of the face and is described as absurd.
