On X (formerly Twitter), Dendezeiro received several mentions and requests from the public with the hashtag #UniformeDendezeiro to renew the costumes and the profile even stated that “official or not” the uniform would be launched.

After being contacted by the Earth youDendezeiro has issued a statement announcing that the brand will present a new stage of the BRS2 collection, launching in November 2023, but clarifying that it has no official link with the entities of the sporting event.

Also according to the note, the new stage will bring references that “spread a spectacle of Brazilianness”: “We pay homage to our cultural roots by developing a completely original collection, reinforcing the diversity of historical national symbols present in the world of fashion,” the statement reads.

The opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Games is scheduled for next week, on July 26, but the Bahian brand has not yet announced when the unofficial collection will launch.
