Simple olive sauce to serve with meat, pasta, salads or toast

The main course is always better if accompanied by something tasty sauceand it is even better if it has a strong flavour, like that of olive. To prepare this recipe you will need green and black olives, mayonnaise and lots of condiments to make it even more appetizing.




When serving, almost anything goes: pork such as loin goes very well with the sauce, as do fish (merluza and salmon are excellent examples) and beef (maminha and lizard). In addition, you can use the preparation to accompany your favorite pasta, regardless of the type.

Olive sauce

Time: 20 minutes

Performance: 6 servings

Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or oil
  • 1/2 small onion, chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chopped green and black olives
  • 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons chopped parsley

Preparation method:

  1. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté the onion and garlic for 2 minutes.
  2. Add the olives and cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool.
  4. Mix the mayonnaise, season with salt, pepper and parsley and serve immediately, if desired, accompanied by a slice of loin.
