Practical cassava broth with dried meat

Ingredients:
- 1 kg of cassava in pieces
- 1 cube of meat broth
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, diced
- 1/2 cup chopped red chili pepper
- 1 cup desalted, cooked and minced beef jerky
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Chives sliced to taste
Preparation method:
- Place the cassava in a pressure cooker with the meat broth and bay leaves.
- Cover with water and cover.
- Cook for 15 minutes, on low heat, after the pressure has started and turn off. Let it cool.
- Dice 1/3 of the cassava and blend the rest in a blender with the cooking broth.
- Heat a large skillet with oil over medium heat and sauté the garlic until it begins to brown.
- Add the onion and pepper and fry for 2 minutes.
- Add the dried meat and sauté for 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour in the whipped cream, the chopped cassava cubes and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. If necessary, add boiling water.
- Serve in bowls sprinkled with chives.
