Orange and honey cake

Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups (tea) sugar
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 2 1/2 cups (tea) wheat flour
- Juice and zest of 2 oranges
- 1/2 cup (tea) honey
- 1 level tablespoon of baking powder
- Margarine and wheat flour for greasing
Syrup:
- 1/2 cup (tea) honey
- 1/2 cup (tea) orange juice
Preparation method:
- Blend the eggs, sugar, margarine, flour, orange juice and honey in a blender until smooth.
- Add the yeast, half of the zest and mix with a spoon.
- Pour into a greased and floured 24cm round cake tin and bake in a preheated medium oven for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean.
- For the syrup, in a pan, mix the honey, orange juice and remaining orange zest and bring to the boil over low heat for 3 minutes.
- Pierce the cake while it is still hot with a toothpick and drizzle it with the syrup.
- Allow to cool and refrigerate for 4 hours. Serve then.
