Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons of wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped green chili pepper
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 4 tablespoons of oil

Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 grated onion
  • 1/2 cup sliced ​​mushrooms
  • 1 cube of meat broth
  • 1 cup of water (tea)
  • 1/3 cup Madeira wine
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

Preparation method:

  1. In a bowl, mix the meat, breadcrumbs and wheat flour, chives, egg, salt and pepper until a smooth mixture forms.
  2. Divide it into 6 parts and form 6 medallions.
  3. Wrap in cling film and place in the freezer for 1 hour.
  4. For the sauce, heat a pan with the butter and fry the onion and mushrooms for 2 minutes.
  5. Add the beef broth and water and cook over low heat for 5 minutes.
  6. Add the wine with the dissolved cornstarch and cook until it thickens.
  7. Turn off and set aside.
  8. Heat a pan with oil and fry the medallions until golden on both sides.
  9. Remove from the oven, arrange on a serving plate and serve with the sauce.
