First, the agency estimates that one in four people over the age of 35 will suffer a stroke. And, according to a record released by US Centers for Disease Control and PreventionThe rate of stroke among Americans ages 18 to 44 increased about 15 percent from 2011 to 2022.

Why have stroke cases increased among young people?

The reason, as explained by neurologist Dr. Gladys ArnezIt is divided into several factors. “Environmental, genetic, dietary aspects and the habit or lack thereof of doing physical activity are some of the examples that influence the development of a stroke”begins.
