The now-deleted post contained the profile picture of Advogados de Direita Brasil and included data related to the Rouanet Law. The unauthorized use of Caetano Veloso’s song led to a lawsuit for copyright infringement.

Second case against the Bolsonaro family

This is not Caetano Veloso’s first legal confrontation with the Bolsonaro family. In 2022, the musician also denounced former President Jair Bolsonaro for the improper use of the song “Andar com Fé”, recorded by Caetano and Gilberto Gil, in a publication about investments in civil protection.

Wanted by the press, Carlos Bolsonaro’s lawyer has not yet commented.
