Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates and Sarah Paulson round out the star-studded cast
The universe of the series Ryan Murphy, American Horror Storywill expand once again– and this time, Ariana Grande is joining the nightmare. The cast for the thirteenth season of the beloved horror franchise was revealed on Halloween, revealing Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Jessica Lange and other renowned stars. The new episodes are scheduled to premiere on October 31, 2026.
Fresh off filming Focker-In-Law,Big joined the cast of AHSwhich will mark her reunion with Murphy after the singer and actress starred Scream Queens in 2015, a series created and directed by him. She will also have the opportunity to work with Emma Roberts and Billie Lourdwho also starred in the comedy and horror series Fox.
Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Gabourey Sidibe and Leslie Grossman are also confirmed to appear in the 13th season. The post of Murphy included only the names of the cast in the program’s signature font, on a black background with the version of Vera Lynn from “I’ll Be Seeing You” playing.

“Surprise, bitch, I bet you thought you’d seen the last of me!” read the on-screen text in the ad, referring to the character’s iconic lines Madison Montgomery of roberts both in Coven as in Apocalypse.
Few details have been shared about the new season, but some fans have speculated that this could be the series’ final season. Fans of the series commented online about their excitement about seeing Lange, Bassett and Bates back to the franchise, as they haven’t appeared on the show since season 8, Apocalypsein 2018. Peters and paulson last participated in Double Feature2021.
The 12th season of American Horror Story premiered in September 2023 in two parts, with the second airing in April 2024. roberts starred in the 9-episode series, which also featured kim kardashian, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Dennis O’Hare and Cara Delevingne.
