“What a beautiful life as a model!” “How glamorous!” Those who think like that don’t know what really happens behind the scenes of the photos. Top model Carol Trentini, 37 years old and 20 years in the profession, is proof that those who approach don’t see running. The gaucho was chosen by Balmain to star in the new global campaign of the powerful brand. And to do so he even had to hang from steel bars and simulate flying suspended from helicopters over New York.
The images, which began to be published this week, feature creative direction from the popular Olivier Rousteing, with shots by Theo Liu. The photos were taken in a New York penthouse.
Balmain’s Fall 2025 collection draws inspiration from the rich heritage of Bordeaux, hometown of creative director Olivier Rousteing, who delves into his personal narrative to redefine the house’s elegance.

“This season, the bold architectural lines and meticulous tailoring of Pierre Balmain’s ‘New French Style’ seamlessly blend with the refined sophistication of Bordeaux, creating a collection that embodies the timeless allure of savvy French women,” the brand says on Instagram.
Carol Trentini remains among the most prestigious names on the international market. Mother of little Bento and Benoah, the Brazilian top model had already been in the spotlight this week: she was chosen by Carolina Herrera to close the show of the eponymous brand at NY Fashion Week.

The Brazilian, who remains in the ‘Top 50’, the list of the most powerful top models on the planet, in addition to being elected ‘Fashion Icon’, according to the reference ranking of Models.com, has also been the protagonist of other fashion shows in the North American city.
