Breaded fried shrimp




Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 15 cleaned and shelled shrimps
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 5 tablespoons of wheat flour
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 tablespoon of water
  • 1/2 cup (tea) breadcrumbs
  • Oil for frying

Sauce

  • 1 cup chopped mango
  • 1/3 cup (tea) of apple cider vinegar
  • 4 tablespoons of water
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 4 tablespoons grated onion
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Preparation method:

  1. For the sauce, blend the mango, vinegar and water in a blender until smooth. Book.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté the onion and ginger for 3 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle with sugar and fry for 2 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Pour in the mango cream, salt, pepper and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until thickened. Let it cool.
  5. Season the prawns with salt and pepper and sprinkle them with flour.
  6. First pass through the egg whites whipped with water and then through the breadcrumbs.
  7. Fry, a few at a time, in boiling oil until golden brown.
  8. Drain them on absorbent paper and serve with the sauce.
