Airfryer Chicken Fillet: Crispy, Easy and Healthy


Crispy and healthy chicken fillet in the Airfryer. Easy recipe, without frying and perfect as an appetizer or main course




Crispy and healthy Airfryer breaded chicken fillets – quick recipe, no frying, with a drizzle of oil for brushing.

Recipe for 2 people.

1 cutting board(s), 2 bowls, 1 deep plate(s), 1 tongs (or tongs), 1 spray bottle (or cooking brush)

cup = 240 ml, tablespoon = 15 ml, teaspoon = 10 ml, teaspoon = 5 ml

Airfryer Chicken Bait Ingredients:

– 250 g chicken fillets – sassami fillet

– 1/2 unit of lemon (juice)

– 1 clove(s) of garlic, finely chopped

– salt to taste

– pepper to taste

Ingredients FOR THE BREADING (AIRFRYER):

– 1 tablespoon(s) of wheat flour, or enough

– 1/2 egg unit or enough

– 1 cup(s) breadcrumbs – or enough (or panko flour)

Ingredients FOR SPRAYING OR BRUSHING

– oil to taste

PREPARATION:

  1. Wash the lemon(s) and cut them in half.
  2. Peel the garlic clove and chop it finely.
  3. Start by seasoning the chicken fillets, as they need to marinate (see preparation).
  4. Set aside the other ingredients and utensils for the recipe.
  5. Crack the egg(s) into a bowl, beat until the egg white(s) and yolk(s) are combined and measure out the quantity needed for the recipe.
  6. Place the breadcrumbs or panko flour in a deep dish.
  7. Preheat the Airfryer to 200°C.

PREPARATION:

Chicken Bait – Seasoning (do this step during pre-prep):

  1. Place the chicken pieces on a cutting board and cut the pieces according to your preferences: the size must be proportionate so that they cook evenly.
  2. Transfer to a bowl and squeeze the lemon juice directly over the top.
  3. Add the minced garlic clove, salt and pepper and mix well.
  4. Let it rest for at least 15 minutes to blend the flavors.
  5. Continue pre-preparation (point 4).

Chicken Baits – Easy Breading:

  1. In the same bowl as the chicken fillets, add the beaten egg(s) and mix well to coat all the pieces.
  2. Add the wheat flour to the bowl with the chicken pieces, so that they are all coated.
  3. Then, coat the pieces in the breadcrumbs or panko, coating them evenly. Press lightly to secure.

Chicken Bait in the Airfryer – Baked:

  1. Brush or drizzle the baits with a little oil to make them golden and crispy.
  2. Arrange the breaded baits in the Airfryer basket, without overlapping them, to allow air circulation. If necessary, cook in stages.
  3. Place the basket in the Airfryer preheated to 200°C.
  4. Cook for about 20 minutes, this time depends on the power of your equipment and the size of the baits
  5. Turn halfway through cooking so that the entire surface cooks evenly.
  6. Once the baits are golden brown, remove the drawer and turn off the Airfryer.

FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:

  1. Serve the Chicken fillets prepared in the Airfryer as a single dish, with your favorite side dish or as a snack/appetizer accompanied by a pastry.
