Traditional cream biscuit:

Time: 30 minutes (+30 minutes rest)

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (tea) of wheat flour
  • 2 cups cornstarch
  • 7 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup cream (tea).
  • Margarine for greasing

Preparation method:

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, cornstarch, sugar, salt, butter, egg and cream until the dough becomes smooth and soft.
  2. Cover and place in the refrigerator to rest for 30 minutes.
  3. Form the dough into rolls, cut them into slices and press each one with the prongs of a fork.
  4. Arrange on a large greased baking sheet, side by side, and bake in a preheated medium oven for 15 minutes or until lightly golden.
  5. Remove from the oven, let cool and serve.
