Passion fruit mousse with whipped cream

Time: 1h (+2h in the fridge)

Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons + 1 teaspoon corn starch
  • 1 cup and 1/2 cup (tea) passion fruit juice concentrate
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 can milk (use empty condensed milk can to measure)
  • 1 can of cream
  • 1/2 cup (tea) water
  • 4 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 cups of mini sighs
  • 2 cups ready-made whipped cream

Preparation method:

  1. In a pan, mix 3 tablespoons of cornstarch dissolved in the passion fruit juice, condensed milk and milk.
  2. Cook over low heat, stirring until thickened.
  3. Remove from the heat, stir in the cream and pour into a medium baking dish.
  4. Leave to cool, covered with cling film to prevent a skin from forming, and place in the fridge for 2 hours.
  5. Blend the passion fruit pulp with the water using the pulse button on the blender, just to release the seeds without breaking them.
  6. Dissolve the remaining cornstarch and sugar in this mixture and, in a pan, heat over low heat, stirring until it thickens. Let it cool.
  7. Distribute half of it on the cream, spread with the minisospiro and the whipped cream.
  8. Decorate with the remaining syrup and serve.
