Model Debbie Aflalo suffered burns to her body after a pressure cooker exploded. The silicone sealing ring of the tool broke and caused the accident.

According to information from the magazine HI!during Mass in the Dominican Republic in 2011, the blast hit his face, stomach and left arm.

With 2nd degree burns, the model was taken to a hospital in Santo Domingos, Dominican Republic. On site, nurses said they usually receive several patients with burns from pressure cooker accidents.

“It’s very dangerous and I didn’t know it. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. It was a very traumatic time,” Debbie said in a social media post.
