Founded in the 1980s by Venezuelan designer Carolina Herrera, the brand quickly became synonymous with a vibrant and sophisticated aesthetic. Elements such as exuberant flowers, intense sparkles, surprising volumes and polka dot prints have always been an integral part of its DNA, bringing an almost theatrical vision to feminine romance.

In the latest collection presented at New York Fashion Week for the spring 2025 season, Gordon revisits the 80s with an innovative approach. It mixes references from this decade with elements of modern and minimalist design, creating a balance between tradition and innovation. The collection stands out for its ability to mix the classic with the new, without being exclusively linked to the historical archives of the brand.

Herrera essence

Gordon keeps Herrera’s maximalist essence alive by incorporating traditional florals and volumes into her creations. But it also adds a contemporary touch by introducing bold mixes of prints and elements such as transparencies, strategic cuts and mini lengths.

This fusion provides a cosmopolitan freshness to the collection, adding a dose of sensuality to the classic femininity of the brand, according to Caras Brasil.
