What are the benefits of pineapple?
Pineapple is a tropical fruit rich in nutrients, such as minerals, vitamins and fiber. Among the minerals it is a source of potassium and magnesium, which can be useful for cardiovascular health, helping to prevent and regulate high blood pressure.
Pineapple is also an important source of vitamin C, responsible for strengthening our immune system. There is also the presence of vitamins B1 and B3, important for combating fatigue, mental tiredness and energy production.
The fruit is also a source of beta-carotene, antioxidants important for preventing cellular damage and its consequences, such as premature aging and the onset of some chronic diseases.
Another important nutrient that we find in pineapple is bromelain, an enzyme capable of acting in our body by promoting the digestion of proteins, with anti-inflammatory, healing and anticoagulant action, helping to prevent the appearance of clots and improving blood circulation.
