TOOLS

1 cutting board(s), 1 heavy-bottomed pan(es), 1 scissors (or knife), 1 bowl(s), 1 pan(es) (square or rectangular)

EQUIPMENT

conventional + blender

METERS

cup = 240 ml, spoon = 15 ml, teaspoon = 10 ml, teaspoon = 5 ml

Ingredients for homemade bananas:

– 3 very ripe dwarf bananas

– 1 tablespoon(s) of water

– 1/2 cup(s) of sugar

– 1/2 spoon(s) of chocolate powder

– 1/2 tablespoon(s) of lemon (juice)

Ingredients TO COMPLETE:

– granulated sugar to taste (or sugar)

Ingredients FOR GREATING:

– oil to taste

PREPARATION:

  1. From the recipe for 2 portions you obtain approximately 12 units of 6×2 cm.
  2. Separate the ingredients and utensils for the recipe.
  3. Grease a square or rectangular mold with oil – be careful when greasing as both the bottom and sides need to be well coated with oil so the sweets don’t stick.
  4. Wash and squeeze lemon juice.

PREPARATION:

Homemade banana:

  1. Peel and cut the bananas into slices.
  2. Place it in the blender, add water and lemon juice and blend until you obtain a smooth mixture.
  3. Place the sugar in a thick-bottomed pan, add the banana puree and mix.
  4. Add the chocolate powder and mix again.
  5. Place the pan over medium/low heat and, stirring constantly, cook the jam until it forms a uniform ball that comes away from the bottom of the pan, about 25-30 minutes.
  6. Transfer the sweets to the greased pan, cover with freezer film and roll out the dough with your hands to level it, leaving it about 1.5 cm thick.
  7. Leave to cool and dry for at least 3 hours at room temperature – do not place in the refrigerator.

Homemade Banana – Modeling:

  1. Once the drying time has elapsed, spread a layer of sugar on a cutting board or work surface.
  2. Unmold the candy on top of the sugar and add another layer of sugar on top of the candy – this will make it easier to cut the bars.
  3. Cut the bars using a knife or scissors, greased with oil – if during the process the sweets start to stick to the utensil, wash it and grease it again to continue.
  4. The size and shape of the cut can be made according to your preference: square or rectangular.
  5. Using your hands, adjust the shape of the bars.
  6. Place the sugar in a bowl and pass the bananas until the entire surface is completely covered.

FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:

  1. Keep the homemade bananas in airtight containers at room temperature.
