According to Dr. Maira Souza, duckling is the ideal cut of meat for healthy recipes minced meat thanks to its lower fat content. “Duckling is perfect for mincing because it is a very lean meat. Other good options are soft leg, hard leg and lizard,” he points out.

Dr. Maiara highlights three preparations in which minced meat can be used in a healthy way. “Homemade burgers, a meatloaf or sautéed minced meat with vegetables, for example, to accompany traditional Brazilian rice and beans,” he explains.
As regards preparation, the nutritionist recommends avoiding industrialized condiments. “When seasoning minced meat, do not use ready-made seasonings, use natural seasonings such as salt, black pepper, rosemarynatural herbs. And always cook very well to avoid contamination”, he warns.
