Ponto Firme and Gustavo Silvestre hold a splendid fashion show at the Ipiranga Museum

After an extraordinary presentation at the Copan Building, Gustavo Silvestro and the Ponto Firme project offered the public another unique experience, this time with a fashion show held in the iconic gardens of the Ipiranga Museum. The presentation, which is part of the preliminary program of Sao Paulo Fashion Week, presented 40 creations made with exclusive crochet fabrics.

These pieces are distinguished by the use of Círculo’s Cordonê thread, adorned with sustainable sequins, which highlights the brand’s commitment to sustainability and innovation in fashion.

Gustavo Silvestro expressed his pleasure in bringing the collection to this historic location during SPFW. “It was an indescribable emotion to see these pieces, the result of collective work, come to life in such a significant space. This means a lot not only to me, but to everyone involved in Ponto Firme,” said the designer.

It also reinforced the importance of highlighting Brazilian authorial design, showcasing the creativity and innovation present in unique pieces, always in line with a social purpose.

2025 collection

The Summer 2025 collection has been meticulously planned to surprise and delight. Highlights include bold necklines and strategic cutouts, open crochet textures that provide transparency, and a subtle sheen that lends a metallic effect to moving fabrics.

The lightness of crochet combined with sequins creates fluid productions, ideal for end-of-year parties. The parade was full of genuinely Brazilian musical repertoire, with songs by renowned artists such as Djavan, Patricia Marx AND Gal Costa.

The walkway, which extended along the stairs and around the museum’s outdoor gardens – one of São Paulo’s cultural symbols – added a special touch to the experience.

The event also saw illustrious presences on the catwalk, including the debut of the influencer Maya Massafera as a model, in addition to the participation of Halessia, Isabela Fiorentino, Vivi Orth AND Dandara Queiroz. Every detail contributed to making this show a memorable celebration of Brazilian fashion and culture.
