Quick and easy homemade bread

Time: 50 minutes (+30 minutes rest)

Performance: 10 servings

Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablet of fresh organic yeast (15g)
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 3/4 cup warm milk
  • 1/3 cup oil (tea).
  • 1 cup and 1/2 cup (tea) wheat flour
  • Oil and wheat flour for greasing and flouring
  • 1 egg yolk for brushing

Preparation method:

  1. In a bowl, mix the yeast, sugar, salt and milk, stirring until the yeast has dissolved completely.
  2. Add the oil, the wheat flour and then mix with a hand whisk until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
  3. Transfer to a greased and floured medium English cake tin, cover and leave to rest for 30 minutes.
  4. Brush with egg yolk and bake in a preheated medium oven for 40 minutes or until cooked through and lightly browned.
  5. Leave to cool, remove from the mold and serve, if desired, accompanied by butter.
