Mini chicken baguettes

Time: 1h (+1h40 rest)

Ingredients:

  • Approximately 1 kg of wheat flour
  • 1 sachet of granular dry yeast (10g)
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 3 cups (tea) of warm water
  • Oil and wheat flour for greasing
  • Grated Parmesan for sprinkling

Filling:

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • 3 cups cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1 can drained corn
  • Salt, black pepper and chopped green chilli
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella

Preparation method:

  1. For the filling, melt the butter in a pan and brown the onion and garlic for 3 minutes.
  2. Add the chicken and corn and sauté for 3 minutes.
  3. Season with salt, pepper and green chilies.
  4. Let it cool and add it to the mozzarella.
  5. For the dough, place the flour in a bowl and set aside.
  6. Blend the yeast, water and salt in a blender and add them to the flour.
  7. Mix until the mixture is smooth and no longer sticks to your hands.
  8. If necessary, add more flour.
  9. Let the dough rest for 40 minutes.
  10. Divide the dough into 10 balls and roll them out with the help of a rolling pin.
  11. Divide the filling into the dough and form baguettes.
  12. Place it in a greased and floured pan and let it rest for another 1 hour.
  13. Sprinkle a little flour and a little parmesan cheese on the bread.
  14. Using a sharp knife, make 2 transverse cuts on each baguette.
  15. Bake in a preheated medium oven for 30 minutes or until lightly browned along with another pan filled with water.
  16. Serve then.
