But along the way, Luciana’s career has already included a path as a model, actress and reporter, and today she celebrates the beautiful moment of her professional and personal life, returning to being a drum queen and with a social project in favor of children with disabilities on the outskirts of Rio.
A bit of everything
With a versatile professional career, Luciana says she has always been driven by the desire to learn a little bit of everything, at the same time. “I liked dancing, but it didn’t make my heart beat that fast; being an actress did too. But then I discovered my passion for journalism. I saw my heart beating and it gave me those butterflies in my stomach, you know ?I knew at that moment that this was what I wanted, but what motivated me to try so many professions was the lack of opportunities,” he says.

The presenter had a successful stint with the extinct Total Zorrawhere he worked for five years. Subsequently, he embarked on a career as a reporter, spending seven years alongside Wagner Montes. She also worked at CNY, Record and was a presenter at Band Rio. According to her, this transition from entertainment to journalism was a natural path, but it worked so well that it didn’t even seem real. “At that moment I didn’t believe I could do it, because it was something I began to love and desire a lot, and since everything was always very difficult, then when I achieved it I didn’t believe it, and I don’t think I still believe it today”, he jokes Luciana.
A genuine desire
Although she is happy with the current moment of her career, Luciana reveals a desire from the bottom of her heart: “I like TV, I like being a reporter! I really want to go back!”, she says. “Perhaps it is my biggest challenge today, I would like to retire from TV,” adds the presenter.
Luciana also runs a social project in Irajá, in the north of Rio de Janeiro, which deals with assistance to children with disabilities, offering physiotherapy and providing around 1,500 services a day. And all of this fits into your bigger goals. “My dream is to return to TV and be able to help as many needy children every year”, concludes Luciana.
