Potato pie with ham and cheese

Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 pack crustless bread
- 3 cups milk (tea)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 250 g of sliced mozzarella
- 5 beaten eggs
- Butter for greasing
- Grated Parmesan for sprinkling
Puree:
- 1 kg of boiled and mashed potatoes
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 glass of cream cheese (200 g)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Preparation method
- For the puree, in a pan, mix the potatoes, butter, cream and cream cheese.
- Place over medium heat, stirring until smooth.
- Turn off the heat, season with salt and pepper and leave to cool.
- In a medium greased baking dish, make a layer of bread moistened with milk seasoned with salt and pepper, a layer of ham, a layer of cheese and then a layer of puree.
- Repeat the layers until you run out of ingredients.
- Spread the beaten eggs, letting them run down the sides onto the layers below.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan and bake in a preheated medium oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
