The Sao Paulo Fashion Week shows took place in October, but some of the trends shown continue to resonate around. Today we will talk about the bags presented by designers in different models and for all tastes.
We selected 16 bags that walked the runway at Latin America’s biggest fashion event to prove that, yes, we have amazing bags, that don’t have to cost a house, as recently boasted by influencers like Virgínia Fonseca and Malu Borges. And be careful: crochet, straw, fabric are among the trends. Check it out and get inspired.
Crochet
Crochet appears everywhere, even in bags, as demonstrated by the Salinas brands, with the large rectangular model, perfect for the beach and the city; brand Isaac Silva showed off the pink and black model for the holidays. The more urban proposal, with fringes, is LED.
Geometric straw
Straw and wicker accessories in a structured, box-like format are also gaining traction for the coming seasons. The one on the left is from the Catarina Mina brand, with crochet details. The one on the right, with ribbons and ceramic objects as decoration, is designed by designer Heloisa Faria.
More straw
Straw seems to be the material of the moment. It was no different in the bag designs shown by Salinas, Foz and Meninos Rei. Each brand featured different decorations and formats.
Splendor
The splendor also applies to the accessories, as seen in the show of the sponsor Mercado Livre, and of the brands Apartamento 03, in Crystal, and Gustavo Silvestre, with plates made from recycled material.
Tissue
Beautiful to experience, Weider Silveiro’s maxi wallet-style bags are made with the same fabric as the look, enhancing the elegant monochrome of the production. Many runways showed models holding their bags this way, against their bodies. It’s trendy.
Take out
Don’t know which bag to bring on a plane or on short trips? How about the ones shown by Ateilê of the mother’s hand and from to the girl. They are large, practical and different. Yes, on-board luggage doesn’t have to be monotonous.
