BANANA WAFFLE Ingredients

– 3 pieces of large, ripe silver bananas. (or dwarf banana)

– 3 units of beaten eggs.

– 3/4 cup(s) oat bran (or oat flour)

– 1/2 teaspoon(s) of chemical yeast

-oil to taste to grease the pan. (or other option of your choice)

– ground cinnamon to taste (optional)

Ingredients TO FINISH

– honey to taste (or agave syrup)

– banana to taste, sliced ​​(optional)

– ground cinnamon to taste (optional)

– fresh red fruits to taste (optional)

– chia seeds to taste (optional) w

PREPARATION:

  1. The yield of this recipe is 4-5 waffles for every 2 servings.
  2. Consider increasing the quantity, as the waffles last well in the refrigerator (5 days) and can be frozen.
  3. Separate the recipe ingredients and utensils.

PREPARATION:

Banana waffles (dough preparation):

  1. In a shallow dish or bowl, break the eggs, add the yeast and beat well.
  2. In another shallow plate or bowl, mash the banana well with a fork until no large pieces remain.
  3. Mix in the mashed banana and beaten eggs until well incorporated.
  4. Add the oats and cinnamon powder (optional) and mix well.

Banana waffle (cooking):

  1. Heat a waffle iron or skillet over medium heat and grease with oil or any oil of your choice.
  2. Pour a portion of dough (1 almost full ladle) for each wafer and spread.
  3. Close and cook for about 5 minutes (in the car) or 2-3 minutes (in the pan, turn and let it rest for another 2 or 3 minutes so that it can brown on the other side too).
  4. Remove it when it is golden on both sides.
  5. Repeat the operation with the rest of the dough.
  6. Remember to re-grease if necessary.
  7. Place on a rack or auxiliary plate.

Banana Waffles (refrigerate or freeze):

  1. Once ready, wait for it to cool before freezing or placing it in the refrigerator.
  2. In the refrigerator, store in a sealed container for up to 5 days.
  3. If you choose to freeze them, separate them and place them in the freezer. Once frozen, transfer them to another container of your choice.

FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:

  1. Serve the banana waffle warm with your favorite accompaniments.
  2. The waffle can be defrosted and heated in the microwave for a few seconds.
  3. Finish with agave syrup or honey.
