Sao Paulo’s Pinheiros neighborhood will take on a Caribbean feel next weekend. The “Comidas de Mi Tierra” festival will bring together flavors and rhythms from different countries.
On 9 and 10 November, Sao Paulo will be the stage of Comidas de Mi Tierra – Latin America and Caribbean Editiona festival that promises to bring together the most authentic flavors, engaging rhythms and the rich culture of different countries of the American continent.
The festival, organized by the Cola a Sampa channel @colaemsampa, will have 58 typical food stands from 15 Latin American and Caribbean countries. In addition to the musical shows. William Vendramini, co-founder of Cola a Sampa, said the goal of the event is to invite the public to explore the tradition of our neighbors through flavors and sounds.
In addition to typical dishes from countries such as Argentina, the Bahamas, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, El Salvador, Ecuador, Peru, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay and Venezuela, Brazilian cuisine will be represented by chefs from Bahia, Goiás , Mato Grosso, Minas Gerais, Pará and Sao Paulo.
