Considered the largest LGBT+ cultural event in Latin America, MixBrasil begins this Wednesday, in Sao Paulo, with bold numbers.
The 32nd edition will present 93 films from 32 countries and 12 Brazilian states, 11 immersive experiences, including new work with artificial intelligence by Brazilian multimedia artist Igi Lola Ayedun, as well as exhibitions, music, literature, games, parties, performances and workshops
With the theme ‘It is in the Light that we meet’, the festival program also includes the traditional Show do Gongo, which in 2024 will have the special edition ‘Gongada Drag’, and themes such as ‘Crescendo com a Diversidade’, aimed at children .
The event will pay tribute to Canadian Bruce LaBruce, one of the most interesting contemporary directors on the independent scene, who will also have an exhibition in his honor, “Bruce LaBruce: uncensored”, at MIS and will present his new film “The Intruder”. ‘.
