Corpcore is a trend that brings back the office looks of the 90s. It has been trending for a long time, but in the latest international and national fashion shows it has become even more popular. This is mainly due to blazers, suits and ties, although the trend also includes midi skirts and shirts.
It is worth remembering that long before the affirmation of women, through clothing, in the labor market, men’s clothing had already entered the male wardrobe. Marlene Dietrich wore a tuxedo in the 1930s, a garment revived by Yves Saint Laurent in the 1960s, with the launch of the Le Smoking look. Since then, many of the brand’s fashion shows, even without the responsible creator, have revived its aesthetics. National catwalks
Here the trend appeared more relaxed on the catwalks, as in the João Pimenta, À La Garçonne and Lucas Leão shows. Yellow, plaid and embroidery were some of the Brazilians’ proposals at the last SPFW.
Ties and shirts
Ties came on strong at fashion shows in Paris and here. In the photos, looks by YSL, Lucas Leão and David Lee, who used the accessory in a creative way.
Cleo
The blazer is a key piece for Cleo Pires, one of the celebrities who loves the revisited bodycore style. The singer and actress is layered with a onesie and loose-fitting dress.
Sasha
Another supporter of the corpcore trend is Sasha. He is wearing brown trousers, a blazer and a shirt from his own brand. In fact, she has created agender looks, including the one she wears.
