Pure elegance: Fernanda Torres chooses 2 all black looks in the USA

The film’s Oscar nomination campaign “I’m still here” continues full steam ahead in the United States, with Fernanda Torres and other cast members, such as Selton Mello, attending press conferences and awards shows. In recent days Fernanda has opted for two bold black looks to attend events.

The first was a 100% silk dress from the collection Cruise 2025, signed by Nicolas Ghesquière. The other, for the Governors Awards, this Sunday (17), an event that kicks off the awards season which culminates with the Oscars. For the occasion the actress wore a total black look by Dior. Both follow the minimalist style of the actress, who plays the role of Eunice Paiva, wife of deputy Rubens Paiva, kidnapped and killed during the military dictatorship in Brazil.

The look worn on the 14th of this month, for the press conference of the film directed by Walter Salles, is silk crêpe de chine. The elegant and sophisticated air appears thanks to the play of fluid lines in the piece. The top half is cinched at the waist to define a flowing silhouette, while the pleated skirt anchors the look. The dress also features a lavallière neckline (with bow) and a row of refined gold LV buttons, giving the look a vertical appearance.

In a lightweight and super elegant fabric, the Dior dress features crystals applied to the collar, adding shine to the all-black look. Minimalist and elegant, it shows that Fernanda Torres doesn’t need much to represent Brazil well.
