In South Korea they no longer know what to do to ensure that the population has children

Of all South Korea’s problems, one is certainly shocking: they have the tariff birth lowest in the world0.72 children per woman. Nannies and visas

As part of this strategy, the government announced the hiring of 100 Filipino nannies who will now be able to work in the country. The measure is just the beginning, as around 1,200 foreign nannies are expected to be hired by the first half of 2025.

An unsolved problem

Despite the government’s efforts over the past 17 years, including spending 380 billion won (about $284 billion) on various incentives to increase fertility, the birth rate has continued to decline. The situation is such that Seoul has warned it the country could be the first in the world to disappear due to this demographic decline.
