Learn how to prepare delicious dishes that bring back the culture and memories of Christmas
Gastronomy is a fundamental part of Christmas traditions. It is around the table that families and friends gather at Christmas, creating fond memories, strengthening bonds and sharing recipes. Recently launched, the book “Saberes, Sabores e Histórias de Natal”, organized by the Instituto Natal Joinville in collaboration with the National Museum of Colonization and Immigration and the Univille gastronomy course, offers recipes passed down from generation to generation.
The work is a “full plate” of ideas for bringing the family together. “Christmas recipes bring with them family stories and customs that make this date even more special. These memories begin to be created during the preparation of each recipe, uniting grandparents, parents, children and grandchildren in the kitchen”, says Camila Araújo Duarte, vice president president of the Institute.
