In times of high temperatures and school holidays, the Brazilian Northeast is the most sought-after region. It’s no surprise that this is where many Brazilians want to go this time of year, according to a report published by KAYAK.

Again according to the research platform, of the ten most searched destinations for travel between December 2024 and January 2025, eight are cities in the north-east.

The best news is that for almost everyone there has been a reduction in the average price of tickets for return flights in economy class. Recife (PE), which tops the ranking, and Salvador (BA), which appears in fifth position, are the cheapest options for travelers to the region.

However, the airlines have other news.

Again according to the concessionaire, the growth in international movement of 63% compared to last season consolidates the Santa Catarina terminal as the 3rd in Brazil with the highest movement of international passengers, behind only Guarulhos (SP) and Galeão (RJ).

One of the new features is the inauguration of direct Azul flights, between Florianópolis and Assunção, capital of Paraguay, on Wednesdays and Sundays, until March 5, 2025.

In Australia, departure takes place on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 12.35pm (local time), while landing in the Chilean capital is scheduled for 11.20am (local time).
