The Prince and Princess of Wales published their traditional Christmas card on social media this Thursday 19th. The image shows the couple accompanied by their three children — George, Charlotte and Louis – in a relaxed recording made at Anmer Hall, the family estate in Norfolk.
The publication took place at 2pm, a few hours after it was confirmed that the royals would not attend the royal family’s traditional pre-Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace, which would also take place today.
This year’s card has special meaning as 2024 has been a busy year for us Kate Middleton. In the photo he appears next to the prince William and his children, celebrating overcoming a difficult period in which he had to deal with cancer treatments. The image was taken from a video published in September, when Kate announced his return to public activities after completing chemotherapy treatment.

Family tradition
The tradition of handing out Christmas cards dates back many years in the royal family and since 2013 the Welsh couple have been sharing their documents accompanied by their children.
The first photo with the firstborn George was published after his birth in July 2013. Over the years, Carlottaborn in May 2015, e Louisin April 2018, they began rounding out the family in Christmas portraits that delight royal fans.
