Here comes: Christmas Symphony with Pericles!

A magical fairy tale with lots of good music on the Globo screen!

You can prepare for a magical night full of emotions! On December 24th, TV Globo will bring a heart-warming Christmas special: Christmas Symphonya delightful mix of music, drama and that touch of fairytale we love.

What to expect from Christmas Symphony

At the center of this enchanting story is Péricles, who in addition to shining as a lead singer, shows his versatility by interpreting classics such as Stand by Me AND Alleluia – plus, of course, Christmas music to make everything even more special. Oh, and the best part is that he won’t be alone! The cast includes big names such as the actresses and singers Rosa Marya Colin and Carol Roberto, and the special participation of the maestro João Carlos Martins and the actress Taís Araújo.

But there’s more: the highlight of the special is a real show with the Orquestra Bachiana Filarmônica SESI-SP, conducted by João Carlos Martins himself. In other words, good music gives goosebumps to anyone.

A story to dream together

In the plot, Péricles plays a worker from the suburbs of São Paulo who bears the same name. He has lost his wife, played by Taís Araújo, and tries to reconcile the frenzy of everyday life with his old passion for music, a dream that, little by little, he has left behind. But, like any beautiful Christmas story, there is always someone to rekindle the flame, and here is his daughter Sofia, played by Carol Roberto. Determined and full of love for her father, she believes in his talent and does not let him give up his artistic dream. To complete the family, we have veteran Rosa Marya Colin as the protagonist’s loving mother, Elza.

The turning point? An unexpected meeting with João Carlos Martins, who sees Péricles’ talent as something special and launches an invitation that changes everything. From then on, the music, magic and spirit of Christmas transform everyone’s lives.
