Christmas is upon us and if you haven’t put up decorations in your house yet, we’re here to help! How about some super easy DIY projects you can make with things you probably already have at home?
Let’s go!
Paper snowflakes

A classic, right, guys? All you need is paper and scissors! Fold the paper four or eight times and cut out shapes around the edges. Then open it and discover the design you created on your snowflake! Hang them with string or thread so they look like bows falling into your home.
Popsicle stick decorations

This is a lot of art projects in school, but we love it! Gather popsicle sticks, glue and assorted decorations such as sequins, pompoms or glitter. Arrange the sticks into various shapes, such as stars, Christmas trees or snowflakes, by gluing them together. If you want, you can paint each one any color you like. Once dry, decorate them with your favorite decorations. These homemade ornaments can be hung on your tree, used as gift decorations, or tied together to form a wreath.
Glass jar candle holder

You can’t go wrong! Do you know that glass jar that you don’t use and that you were thinking of throwing away? Start by cleaning them well. Then use paint, glue, and a variety of decorative items, such as ribbon, buttons, or string, to decorate. Then, place a candle inside each jar to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere in your home.
DIY Christmas wreath

Create your own wreath using materials such as cardboard, wire or even a coat hanger as a base. Collect the leaves or buy them from the nearest haberdashery. Use hot glue or wire to attach the foliage to the base, creating a circular shape. Add decorative elements such as bows, tinsel or fruit to personalize your wreath. Hang it on your door to welcome guests with holiday cheer.
Salt dough decorations

Finally, create your decorations using a simple dough recipe made from flour, salt and water! Roll out the dough and with the help of cookie cutters create various shapes, such as stars, bells or angels. After baking and cooling, paint the decorations with acrylic paints or markers. Once dry, thread a ribbon through a small hole in the top of each ornament to hang them on the tree as decorations. But a warning: this dough is not edible!
