“Most animals have a hearing sensitivity bigger than us humans. So, when we are talking mainly about mammals, they can be scared by the noise of fireworks and trigger some stress-related situations”, explains Gabriela Moreno Pires, veterinarian at the Vet Quality Centro VeterinĂ¡rio.
Among the symptoms presented by pets in disturbing situations are:
- Panting;
- The animal tries to hide;
- Trembling;
- Escape attempt;
- Convulsion;
- Hypertensive crisis.
