Ground beef with okra

Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons of oil
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • 1 seedless tomato chopped
  • 300g chopped okra
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 diced carrot
  • 600 g of minced meat
  • 1 sachet of powdered meat broth
  • Salt, black pepper and fresh thyme to taste

Preparation method:

  1. In a pan, heat the oil over medium heat, brown the onion and garlic for 3 minutes.
  2. Add the tomato and fry for another 2 minutes.
  3. Add the okra, lemon juice, carrot and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Add the minced meat and the meat broth and fry until the water that forms in the pan has dried up, stirring occasionally.
  5. Season with salt, pepper and thyme and serve immediately.
