Qatar and the FIFA are recruiting 20,000 volunteers to work in the World Cup 2022. Applications must be submitted on July 31 and interviews will run until August 13. The tournament, which will be the first to take place in a Middle Eastern country, will take place from 21 November to 18 December in eight different stadiums.

Volunteers will be at the center of the event’s operations, supporting 45 areas in more than 30 different roles. To participate in the volunteer program, you must be at least 18 years of age as of October 1, 2022, speak English, and be available to commit for a minimum of ten rounds during the tournament. Some activities will start as early as October 1st.
It is important to note that FIFA will not cover any expenses for the volunteers, who will have to bear the costs of accommodation and transport. Interested parties should visit volunteer.fifa.com, create an account and complete the “Take the Trials” application form. Those who have passed this first stage will also undergo an interview before receiving the volunteer offer.
