Emily says it all started when she was only 7 years old. “When I jumped on my trampoline, I realized that I was having a headache after only 10 minutes to play. The pains came until he could even get out of bed. When he got up, he passed out from the discomfort. However, the exams he did did not underline any irregularities. The doctors thought it was a case of migraine.
In 2021 a diagnosis arrived: Malformation of clear. The disease causes the bottom of the brain to slide out of the hole at the base of the skull, pushing the spinal canal downwards. Emily had to undergo cerebral surgery and spine.
“I was at a point where my symptoms were so serious that I was desperate for relief,” he recalled.
According to her, in surgery, a piece of the skull and the upper part of the spine have been removed. Emily described it for a while she tried less pressure and managed to go back to school. But a year after the procedure, the symptoms are back.
Two years later, he joined the money for treatment and suffered another surgery, this time in Spain. “Fortunately, this intervention prevented my condition from worsening and has already started improving my symptoms and pain,” he said.
“I can’t work today, which is very frustrating, because I don’t feel in control of my earnings and I don’t feel independent as I would like. Furthermore, because of my symptoms, I have not yet been able to go to my direction test, because I can only look at the lessons when I feel quite well, that it was not frequent enough to learn correctly,” he said.
He complained that he had lost many experiences of his life because of the disease and who feels “late” for his friends. However, the young woman also said that she feels optimistic for the future and that, thanks to the last surgery, she is going back to building a social life.
“I feel I finally recover everything I have lost, which is a great relief for myself,” he said.
