Recently, Airbnb has announced a survey on travel trends in 2025. Despite the economic crisis, 71% of respondents plan to travel this year, of which 26% have already reserved at least one trip during the period.
In a country of continental dimensions such as Brazil, domestic destinations are preferred between 93%of the interviewees, who should travel on vacation and looking for free time, followed by moments of visiting the family (35%), romantic travel (25%) and visit friends (21%).
Since it could not be different, the beaches (69%) are the favorite destination of people who have children, while the big cities (40%) are the most sought after people by people between 18 and 37 years old. The theme and fun parks (23%) are mainly considered by women aged 18 to 47 with children.
Search with travelers
More than rest and opportunities to meet new destinations, events such as shows, music festivals and sports games are on the public radar, according to the research conducted by the Isosos Institute.
The entertainment tourism so called is high with 41% of travelers who say that they already consider an event in their travel plans, in particular young people aged between 18 and 27 years. Even those who have not planned the trip to a specific event do not ignore this activity: 85% of respondents say they are willing to participate in an event during the trip.
The public wants to follow music festivals (46%) and artist shows (44%).
The interest in sport also moves tourists, who in 31% of the responses quote football matches, as well as other sporting events (27%). The San Paolo GP, which takes place in November, is the great interest of the niche, being mentioned in 22% of the answers.
Held in January 2025, the study listened to the Brazilians with interest in traveling during the year. The sample, representative in terms of gender, age group and socio -economic level, has used quantitative methodology and online interviews, trying to identify travel trends for 2025.
