San Paolo

To see the city from another point of view, the tip is the Pedra Grande Trail, in Cantareira, one of the largest urban forests in the world.

The 6 km long walk (round trip) is of approximately moderate difficulty and brings the visitor to a natural vigil with a panoramic view of San Paolo.

Currently, the Cantarera forest is divided into four nuclei: Pedra Grande, where the path occurs, and the fever, both in San Paolo, Águas Claras, in Mairiporã and Cabuçu, in Guarulhos.

Incidentally, the fattening nucleus, in the Tremembé region, is the historical version of Cantelareira, with attractions that tell the story of the water supply in the city, such as the fattening dam and the house of the bombs. However, the highlights are the car -guied routes ranging from 650 meters to 4 kilometers in length, including the waterfall.

Serra do Mar

Serra do Mar State Park has two centers very close to the capital: CuruduTu and Ituringa-Pilsh.

The first is known for a circuit that brings together three routes: Lookout, Spout and Chapel, a course of 1.6 km and with medium difficulties.

The route is subjected to attractions such as the historic chapel erected by the former residents, the milestone between the municipalities of San Paolo and Itaném, and from a high guard who, in the days of clear sky, can see the ecological station of Jureia and the coastal municipalities.

With the admission of Marsilac, a district at the southern end of the state capital, this park is located 60 km of Square, about 15 kilometers from Itaném, on the southern coast.

In addition to the options for historical routes such as the old road of Santos (16 km) and the sidewalk of Lorena (7 km), a rockway in which Dom Pedro has moved to me to proclaim Brazil’s independence, the park also hosts the Waterfall Trail tower.

This 9 km long walk (round trip) crosses an old access route to an electricity transmission tower, from where you have a view on the coast and access to a series of small waterfalls.

Despite having bathroom areas, it is worth remembering that the path has no view or access to the sequence of falls that amount to 130 meters.
