Although the title was won in November last year, the Kanyeyachukwu company, which is autistic, was officially published at the beginning of this month on April 2 – Day of the world of acceptance of autism. The name of the frame is “The impossibility is a myth.”
The painting explores significantly colors, facial expressions and has a great symbol of infinity. According to the boy’s mother, Silva Tagbo-Okeke, to CNN, the goal is to symbolize awareness and acceptance.
“He doesn’t speak, but he wants his art to tell his story in his name,” he said.
The adolescent screen has generated a lot of attention in its country, increasing awareness of the condition and has even produced the fundraising to a non -profit organization called Zeeba Foundation, which will be redirected to people within the spectrum and their families.
The president of Nigeria Bola Tinubu said that Kanyeyachukwu is “brave, bold and tenacious” for his art. “Congratulations on recognition. Your story has become history and Nigeria is proud of you, Kanyeyachukwu Tagbo-Okeke,” he wrote.
“This opens a new world of possibilities for children with special needs and their caregivers. In addition to the awareness of autism, inclusion and neurodiversity, it also gives us hope that there are infinite possibilities in every human being, regardless of diagnosis,” said Kanye’s parents to Guinness.
According to Guinness, the boy’s parents discovered the spectrum when he was between two and three years old. To help him express it more freely, they put him in various activities, but the art and painting were those who attracted more attention than Kanye.
At the age of eight, he became the youngest person to receive the “Flame of Peace” award in Austria for having spread peace through his art. In 2019, he created his first personal exhibition on the Earth Kulture Art Gallery, also entitled “The impossibility is a myth”.
