Most of us like to travel. Some people prefer to go on a beautiful beach, where they spend vacation days, read and turn in the sun. Others like outdoor activities, hike hikes or visits to mountain bikes and like to be in motion. Others prefer to transform each trip into a cultural tour.

But whatever the type of travelers to which you belong, the goal of the holidays is generally relaxation. We all want to leave daily life behind, really disconnect and think of other things. To make the trip relaxing – whether it is to read at the swimming pool or climb the mountain – we have to keep ourselves psychologically from work. Therefore, you should not quickly check your work mail after breakfast or be available for a team on any problem. To reach the effect of recovery, a conscious break in work is necessary-both physical, that is to say at a distance and mental.

It may seem logical, but in practice, many of us do not always succeed. Even if we leave our work phone at home or don’t even look in the mail during the holidays, our thoughts can always turn around work. Perhaps we recall the conflict with the boss, who always disturbs us. Or we are already thinking of the best way to approach the next project.
No matter how natural thoughts were, ideally, you just have to let them go and hang on to them. Because, as the study on this subject shows, this not only annoys in the moment, but can also slow down our recovery after the trip.
