Watermelon is impossible not to love. He is one of the main reasons why we are all waiting for the arrival of August! Some are ready to eat watermelon at any time of the day – and completely forget about more nutritious foods for a while.

However, variety never hurts! Even though we’re talking about watermelon, which doesn’t seem to require any additions. But try making ice cream from this berry. It’s much healthier than store-bought options – and due to the lack of added sugar, it even helps with weight loss!

Ingredients

  • Watermelon
  • Greek yogurt – 1 pot
  • Berries and fruits – optional

  • Cut the watermelon in half and carefully cut an even circle on one side – so as not to damage the green shell
  • Cut out the pulp from the circle and grind it in a blender
  • Add Greek yogurt and other berries and fruits to the watermelon pulp, such as strawberries, bananas, or kiwis. Shake well in a grinder
  • Now let yourself be distracted by the resulting circle of green skin. Make small holes in four of its parts and insert sticks to create the base of the future ice cream
  • Put the green circle on parchment paper and put the resulting berry yogurt mass in it
  • If desired, you can decorate the future ice cream with blueberries, raspberries, blueberries, crushed seeds or nuts and coconut flakes
  • Put the preparation in the freezer. A few hours and you’re done!

When the ice cream has hardened, cut it into equal parts and enjoy the result. The main thing is not to eat everything at once. Leave it to other family members too 🙂
