In the middle of the school holidays, the exhibitions will be place to … study.

Among the July options, the visitor will present courses on the history and aesthetics of horror, the creation of comics and also how to create engaging exhibitions in virtual reality.

Another salient moment of Mis’s courses is what faces some of the most emblematic albums of Brazilian music in the 70s, with the analysis of the works of artists such as Caetano Veloso, Gal, Gilberto Gil and Raul Seixas.

Iconic discs of Brazilian music – 70s special

Days 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 July and 5th August (from 19 hours to 21h) – in progress in person

The course will present some of the most emblematic Brazilian albums in history, among these, Caetano Veloso – “Trans” (1972); Gal Costa – “India” (1973); Gilberto Gil – “Express 2222” (1972); Dry and wet – “dry and wet” (1973); Raul Seixas – “Gita” (1974); Jorge Ben – “Esmeralda Board” (1974).

A different album will be addressed with each meeting, as well as the graphic design of the cover, the social and cultural aspects of the time, unusual stories and curiosities. A collective audition will also be held, with comments on the track.

History and aesthetic of horror

Dias 1, 3, 8, 15, 17 and 24 July (from 19 hours to 21h) – in the path of person

He faces the history of fear and terror from its visual aspects, within the studies of the so -called cultural history. The lessons will explore the poetics of horror, focusing on some of its elements and supports: painting, architecture and sculpture, as well as the mass culture of the West, with cinema, photography, comics, music and advertising.

Critical Fashion History – Fashion and Body

1, 3, 8, 10, 15 and 17 July (from 19 hours to 21h) – Online course

The aim of the course is to draw a short history of the body and its iconographic representation in antiquity, medieval and Renaissance, highlighting their differences from such as painters, sculptors, poets, writers and costumes/designers have resigned and reinvent the notion of body/body as a fundamental topic for modernism in the arts and fashion.

The documentary of the invention: narrative strategies

Days 3, 7, 11, 14 and 17 July (from 19 hours to 21h) – in the course -person

Creative and historical immersion in the language of documentary cinema, its limits and possibilities through its contemporary aspects: the film for damage, the fiction cinema, self-transfer and other copyright expressions. Through exercises and performance of emblematic features of gender films, the course will show narrative strategies of “documentary” dramaturgy.

Virtual art: create engaging exhibitions with VR frames

Days 7, 8, 10, 14, 15 and 17 July (from 19 hours to 21h) – online course

This course is designed for those who want to explore the potential of virtual reality technologies for the creation of virtual exhibitions, in which participants will learn to use the VR Frame platform to develop engaging exhibition spaces, incorporate digital and multimedia works and promote interactions for virtual visitors.

Comics history on a page

Days 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25 July (from 19 hours to 21h) – in the course of -person

The course teaches the development of a comic on a page. The proposal is to create characters with unpretentious and experimental style, inspired by animations such as “Jorel’s brother”, “Adventure Time”, “Just a show”, “Flap jack”, “Titio Grandpa”, among others.

The lessons will be totally practical, with the script created through the cards. The cutouts, writings, drawings and other unconventional materials can be used in creation, for example packaging. The creation of the character will be guided by geometric forms, combining exaggerated facial expressions and distortions in anatomy.



Critical Fashion History – Fashion and Image

22, 24, 29 and 31 July and 5 and 7 August (from 19 hours to 21h) – online course

Without losing sight of this present, the course proposes to analyze the historical and conceptual relationships between fashion and image, its characteristics and its meanings. It is a question of understanding the image as a definition of artistic languages ​​and communication.

28, 29 and 30 and 4, 5, 5, 6, 11, 12 and 13 August (from 19 hours to 22h) – in the course

Aimed at those who love photography and want to learn to manage the equipment and apply photographic techniques with the characteristics that their camera provided.
