Cocoa Oat Cookies
ingredients
- 1/4 cup of hot water
- 4 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 1/3 cup of oatmeal
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- Wheat flour for greasing and sprinkling
- butter for greasing
Method of preparation
Put the water, brown sugar, cocoa and butter in a container and mix until you get a homogeneous mixture. Add half of the oatmeal and baking powder and mix. Add the rest of the oatmeal and knead the dough until smooth. Cover with plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes.
After, sprinkle a smooth surface with wheat flour and roll out the dough with the help of a rolling pin. Cut mass, shape the cookies and set them aside. Grease a pan with butter and wheat flour, place the biscuits on it and bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC for 25 minutes. Remove from the oven, allow to cool and then serve.

Orange oatmeal muffins
ingredients
- 200 ml of natural orange juice
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
- 4 tablespoons of sugar
- 2 cups of rolled oats
- 3 tablespoons of grated coconut
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
- Cinnamon powder to taste
Method of preparation
In a blender put the Orange juice, eggs, coconut oil, sugar and beat until smooth. Transfer the mixture to a container, add the oat flakes, grated coconut and baking powder and mix well. Reserve. Sprinkle the cupcake molds with ground cinnamon, pour the dough over it and bake in a preheated oven at 200ºC for 30 minutes. Turn out and serve.
Cassava and carrot bread
ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1/4 cup of water
- 1/2 cup boiled and mashed cassava tea
- 1/2 cup grated carrot
- Salt to taste
- 4 cups of tea with sour flour
- Butter and wheat flour for greasing
Method of preparation
In a bowl put the eggs, oil, water, manioc, carrots and salt. Mix until a homogeneous consistency is obtained. Add the flour a little at a time, until the dough is smooth. Cover with plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes. Grease a pan with butter and wheat flour and set aside. Shape the dough into balls and arrange them on the baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Tip: wait for it to cool down and fill it with something the baby likes.
